Thanks to these tags, websites are presented the opportunity to be ranked in user queries made in a specific language or in a specific region. First the language, and then the country code must be specified while creating hreflang tags. Also, for example, by using markups such as "de-ES", it is possible to indicate that German content is intended to target users located in Spain.
