Albaraka Türk is a bank operating on participation banking principles and holding a significant position in Türkiye's finance sector. With the products and services it offers across individual, commercial, and corporate segments, it addresses a broad user base.

In an environment where digital channels are becoming increasingly critical, gaining stronger visibility on the organic search side in particular and establishing a long-term structure have become a priority.

Challenges

The finance sector presents a particularly sensitive landscape for SEO due to its high regulatory requirements and the critical importance of user trust. Within the context of participation banking specifically, this structure becomes even more distinct; the differentiation of products and terminology from conventional banking requires an additional balance to be struck between search behaviors and content language.

In addition, areas such as clarifying page hierarchy across the site, establishing relationships between content, and improving crawl efficiency were among the priority development areas for achieving sustainable growth in organic performance.

Our Goal

Our primary goal for Albaraka Türk was to build organic performance on a long-term and sustainable foundation rather than short-term gains.

Accordingly, the aim was to create a holistic structure in which all SEO efforts support one another, with crawl management, page hierarchy, and search intent alignment placed at the center.

Within the scope of the strategy, each keyword group was matched with a clearly defined target page, while content and page structures were restructured to support these objectives. The gap between participation banking-specific terminology and users' search behaviors was balanced -particularly through page titles, descriptions, and page positioning- to achieve broader visibility.

At the same time, the internal linking structure was strengthened to make both the user journey and search engine signals more consistent. Through improvements in areas such as crawl and index control, URL prioritization, and content organization, the site's overall SEO infrastructure was made more efficient and scalable.
