Odeabank SEO Success Story
Redefining Investment Search in Türkiye's Precious Metals Market
Odeabank is a financial institution operating in Turkey, serving individual and corporate segments through digital banking services. It offers banking products and investment solutions to address the diverse financial needs of its users.
In an environment where competition in financial search results is highly intense, investment-focused queries in particular present an area where user intent is more defined and closer to the decision stage. Accordingly, gaining a stronger position in the organic channel and achieving visibility in high-intent searches has become a priority.
Challenges
The finance sector presents a particularly sensitive landscape for SEO, not only due to high competition but also to its trust- and regulation-oriented nature. Especially in investment-focused search queries, users' expectations for accurate, reliable information become even more critical.
In this context, gaining visibility in non-brand searches and being able to compete in high-intent investment queries emerged as a significant need. At the same time, the fact that some pages across the site addressed more than one search intent created a structure that made it difficult for content to remain focused.
In addition, properly structuring depth, recency, and coverage in investment-focused content ranked among the top priorities in terms of strengthening search engine signals.
Our Goal
Our primary goal for Odeabank was to move organic performance away from dependency on branded searches and achieve strong visibility in non-brand and high-intent investment queries.
Accordingly, the target was set to raise monthly organic traffic above 100K and to rank at the top positions particularly in investment-focused queries.
Within the scope of the strategy, investment pages were differentiated under a clearer structure, ensuring that each page focused on a specific search intent. Separate pages were created for different investment types, such as foreign currency and gold, making the content structure more comprehensible and goal-oriented.
On the content side, a comprehensive content structure targeting investment terminology was established, creating a framework that directly addressed users' information-seeking process. This structure enabled coverage of high-volume informational searches while also building strong interconnections between content across the site.
Additionally, calculation tools and investment pages were enriched to better respond to user intent, expanding content coverage. Internal linking and information architecture arrangements were made to support these pages, while rapid content production in response to current search trends was used to capture new opportunity areas.
