As of 2016, the company has incorporated an overseas education department and added other overseas education opportunities to its portfolio. The academic education-oriented staff of ICES Turkey provides consultancy services in its central office in Istanbul and field offices in Ankara, Izmir, and Adana. The company also offers academic consultancy services mainly in Istanbul and also in Izmir, Adana, and Ankara.
The website architecture of ICES Turkey, our partner since January 2018 and has been performing very well ever since, underwent a change in April 2020. Despite a smooth transition, the rankings dropped over time. In addition, the international education industry has been negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
There was a need to make up for the decline experienced in the rankings on generic keywords and the keywords selected for countries where the company operated. Therefore, the education-related content regarding nearly 500 universities and graduate programs was re-examined. All blog content was updated. Internal linking improvements were made.
In the period following the implementation of these steps, which we were confident would be successful, the Google core update enabled website traffic to be higher than ever.
